RIDE THE CLASSIC!!!

The sixth edition of the Edaran Endurance Classic will be held in Terengganu, the venue of the forthcoming World Endurance Championship 2008, once again.
The four day event will be held from 26 June till 29 June at the Terengganu International Endurance Park (TIEP) at Lebah Bidong, Setiu, Terengganu.

The main event which is the CEI 3* 160Km ride has been slated as an official qualifying ride for WEC 2008 as well as a qualifying ride for the Certificate of Competitiveness (COC).

Three other rides, namely a CEI 3* 120Km, an 80Km and a 40Km, will be open to both foreign and Malaysian riders.

About Edaran Endurance (2007)...At a glance~

The fifth annual ride of the Edaran Endurance Classic will be held from 26-27 July 2007. Held close to the FEI - World Endurance Championship 2008 [WEC 2008], this year’s Ride takes on an important significance and will provide the opportunity for riders to obtain their Certificate of Competitveness (COC) which will go towards their qualifications to participate in the WEC 2008. At the same time it provides foreign riders aiming to participate in the WEC 2008 are expected to take this opportunity to familiarize themselves to riding conditions in tropical condition.

This year’s ride will be held in Terengganu International Endurance Park, Lembah Bidong, Setiu, Terengganu, the venue of the FEI - WEC 2008. The Competition will feature a main event, which is the FEI-CEI 3 Star 160KM Ride as well as three other rides – a CEI 3*/CEIJY 3* 120Km ride, an 80Km ride and a 40Km ride. This is also the first time that the EDARAN ENDURANCE CLASSIC will be holding both Individual and Team Events.

The media conference has been attended by YB Dato’ Azalina Dato’ Othman Said, Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia. The Co-Chairmen of the Organising Committee, YBhg Dato’ Abdul Hamid Mustapha (EDARAN) and YBhg Dato’ Seri Dr. Salleh Mohd Nor (Yayasan Diraja Sultan Mizan) will be presiding at the conference.

The Edaran Endurance Classic 2007 is jointly organized by Yayasan Diraja Sultan Mizan and Edaran Digital Systems Berhad. The competition is sanctioned by the Equestrian Association of Malaysia and the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) and endorsed by the Ministry of Youth Sports as well as the State of Terengganu.

Hai all..

I would like to begin my blog with a post about Endurance that will be held by my company (where i use to work with as IT executive) . The world event will took place at Lembah Bidong , Setiu Terengganu, on 28th-29th June '08 .

The place will promise you a breath-taking-view , beautiful beach along 'Pantai Batu Buruk' which is not far away from the endurance park.

Most of the view was taken at Suria Beach Resort, the most beautiful 4 stars resort that you can found there.

Above was a very energetic and sportman of our beloved DYMM Tuanku Sultan Mizan, The Highest majesty of Malaysia. He participated in 140 km. All the best!
